Namor & Mia have been tying together for three years and are excited to share with you an intense Semenawa scene.
Namor is a Seattle based professional kinbaku shibari artist who had been tying since 2014, and has been tying with Mia since 2021. Their rope practice has been inspired by rope artists such as Tamandua, Naka Akira, Federico Kirigami & Marta Tenshiko, Nureki Chimuo, and Ren Yagami. Outside of rope they h ave studied and been inspired by photographers and artists such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Norio Sugiura, and Takato Yamamoto.
They run Kensho Studio in Seattle, Washington. Kensho Studio is a venue and community dedicated to traditional Japanese rope bondage and Japanese culture. Located in Seattle, Washington, Kensho Studio has rope events and jams, rope classes where you can learn to tie, study groups, and photography opportunities. This studio explores kinbaku, shibari, & rope bondage.
They enjoy the complexity, connection and creativity rope offers, and pushes to explore both the artistic and sadistic sides of rope. Every relationship is unique, offering a chance to experience kinbaku in a different way — musings which range from erotic to aesthetic.
